Medicare released a Maintenance Therapy Program. In this program, therapists can actually see you to maintain your current status or abilities. It is no longer based on PROGRESS now, rather Skilled and Medically Necessary Therapy. Meaning that as long as therapy is skilled and medically necessary to prevent a decline in condition, we can continue therapy regardless of progress towards a goal.
BUT… Many therapists DO NOT know this or even know how to bill for it. So instead, they still discharge patients due to a lack of progress towards a certain goal.

What should I wear to my therapy sessions?
